I am thrilled to announce my sixth full length album Horizon Line, featuring three works with string quartets: Continuous Interior for Vibraphone and String Quartet (2022), The Great Marsh (2016), and Arctic (2013). The album will be on New Focus Recordings June 12, 2026. Stay tuned for updates, trailers, and previews leading up to its release.
The album features the some amazing artists-friends-longtime collaborators:
Abby Fisher, percussion
Bergamot Quartet
Mivos Quartet
Alyssa Wang, violin
Kiyoshi Hayashi, violin
Beste Tiknaz, viola
Jacques Lee Woods, cello
Horizon Line explores landscapes and the pastoral - in nature, visual art, and urban space. The “horizon line”orients perspective and by implication, how we situate ourselves and derive meaning from the world around us. The album also brings together a decade of string quartet compositions, a medium of great joy for me.
